How to Use BlackCoat AirGo Ultra Light Rain Coat

Add to cart

We take it for granted that you know the basic of wearing a coat; arms in the arm holes, etc. There are two things that you can do with an AirGo that are rather special to this fine travel jacket. First, you can fold this coat down to the size of a magazine and keep it in the side pocket of a commuter bag or travel bag - never having to face rain without stylish protection.

Second, each of the pockets in your BlackCoat has been designed to enable convenient stowage while maintaining the line and form of the garment. We humbly offer the following suggested usage for each of the pockets.

Step 1

CELL POCKET RIGHT: There are cell phone pockets on either side of the coat, with vertically oriented zippers and positioned high enough on the chest so you hear the ring tone and reach the device quickly, although Bluetooth headsets are suggested. There are two of these to accommodate people of either manual orientation (lefty or righty) and to placate technology gluttons. (5” deep x 5.5” high)

Step 2

PEN HOLDER: We suggest that you find a rugged pen and leave it here to avoid uncomfortable moments of unpreparedness. A roller ball gel tip with a smooth casing (no sharp edges) is an excellent choice.

Step 3

MP3 (i.e. iPod®) POCKET : It has come to our attention that more than half of Koyono customers own iPod MP3 players from Apple. Keeping it in this pocket makes it easy to get to, orients it the right way, and allows the user to see through the mesh lining to see controls or track information.

Step 4

THE DEEP POCKET: Named in honor of our investors, this zipper-topped pocket is ideal for airline tickets, passports, and bundles of crisp new bills. (9” deep x 6.5” wide).

Step 5

THE PDA POCKET: Small PDAs, MP3 Players, and classic note pads, like those by Moleskine Notebooks used by GAI - geniuses, artists, and innovators for many years, fit easily without getting lost in the bottom of this zipper-topped pocket. (5” deep x 4.5” wide)

Step 6

THE MAGAZINE POCKET: The largest pocket is sized and oriented to keep magazines flat against the abdomen, maintaining the line of the coat as well as the jacket of a book, magazine or business plan. (11” deep x 9” wide).

Step 7

THE KEYS POCKET: The outer pockets of every BlackCoat include a D-ring for attaching key chords (1 included). Move the cord to the place you like to find your keys..

Step 8

THE LAST POCKET: The resting place of miscellany. Mints are always a good idea.
