smart fabric interfaces, to integrate five-button
ipod controls into our ipod jackets and
coats. These controls allow
for full functionality of your iPod without having to remove it from
the jacket. Fluid and uninterrupted access to your

without missing a beat is finally here.
Inspired by the jackets we have seen worn by workmen, artists, and
genius engineers, BlackCoat Work MFI is our attempt to design a uniform
for Free Agents, Knowledge Workers, and Innovators alike. As with all
BlackCoat designs, Work MFI has a minimal
appearance and is made from the latest encapsulated
waterproof fabric technology - Nano-Tex
stretch cotton. It has the feel of the softest, aged denim but the
durability of canvas and the water, stain, and static repellent
capabilities of the high-tech fabric that it is. The
unstructured (minimal lining) interior makes BlackCoat Work MFI a light
weight shirt jacket. It's an iPod jacket that you might
never want to take off.

the line and form of the garment. Our MFI line also includes special
pocketing for the iPod as well as ingenious fully washable,
fabric-based control technology by Eleksen called Elektex.
