Performance
Highly Durable:
Tested at 5 million key presses, ElekTex touchpads are
washable,
flexible and have long-wearing durability and yet they drape like any
fabric.
Low Impact Design:
At 0.6mm thick and less than 25gms (less than 1oz),
ElekTex fabric
touchpads are barely detectable in wearable constructions.
Utility
ElekTex patented touchpad and ribbon cable
technology combines all the benefits of fabric with the interactivity
of electronics in its solutions for wearable technology.
Control Sensor:
No wires, no cables, no switches, no bumps. the ElekTex
Control Sensor is a 100% fabric control for your iPod. The control
pad (also pictured above) holds the Elektex fabric in place
and guides the user to the proper place on the fabric to press for each
of the iPod functions.
iPod Connector:
The Elektex fabric connects, through a washable fabric
ribbon, to a miniscule black box and the iPod connector. This assembly
is easily removed from the fabric ribbon when washing the garment.
