The Story
When we were in LA
for the 2004 MTV Movie Awards, we toured around
Hollywood, Venice and Manhattan Beach. Not prepared for strolls in the
sand, I had to get a pair of sandals. After 10 minutes in an upscale
sports boutique I thought I had found a pair that would work. As I went
to check out with a pair of Puma flip-flops, I was stopped by some
random person who insisted I reconsider. A maven for Rainbow, he
recommended that I try a pair. Taking his word, I went to a surf shop
in Venice who carried the line. It was instant love. During the summer,
Rainbows are all I wear and I never leave on a trip without them.
