Choosing the correct size of any article of clothing is by no means a perfect science when ordering over the Internet. The process can be made easier, however, with some simple hints that we have found to work well for people who purchase our products.

To get started, it is important for you to know your measurements. Use the following chart to determine which size is best for you. If you are like most people that do not know how to take their own measurements, please click here. Alternatively, you can visit just about any dry cleaner or clothier and they will be happy to take your measurements at no charge.

Getting a perfect fit is very subjective and depends on many things, including how you like to wear your clothes. Some people prefer that their clothes have a little extra room, while others like a close fit. Here are some helpful hints when ordering our products.

BlackCoat Classic:

Relaxed Shell - True Fit Vest

BlackCoat Classic is a 3-in-1 design featuring a shell and vest. The vest is true to size and the shell is a bit larger to accommodate the vest when worn together. The benefit is versatility. When the shell is worn without the vest there is the perfect amount of room to allow it to be worn comfortably over a blazer or sport coat.

IMPORTANT: The sizing of the new BlackCoat has been slimmed down. If you wore a large in a previous version, you might want to consider sizing up to an extra large in the current design.

If your measurements fall within a size range (e.g. 38-40 chest, medium), you probably want to order the corresponding size.

If your measurements are close to the top end of any size range (e.g. 40 chest), or in between sizes (e.g. 41 chest), you may want to order a size higher (i.e. large) If you plan on layering.

If your measurements are in between sizes (e.g. 41 chest), and you prefer your coats to have a closer fit, then you most likely will be fine with the lower size. In this case, that would be medium.
NOTE: It's important not to compromise on the chest measurement. Select a coat on this measurement first.

BlackCoat Minimal, Sport & Work

Fit - Designer

BlackCoat Minimal, Sport, Work & Surf have less pocketing allowing for a design with a more close fit. For Minimal, please note that this coat has an overcoat cut and is designed to be worn over a sport coat.

If your measurements fall within a size range (e.g. 38-40 chest, medium), you probably want to order the corresponding size.

If your measurements are in between sizes (e.g. 41 chest), you will want to order a size higher (i.e. large).

Takumi Shirts

Fit - Designer US

Many people ask how Takumi shirts will fit in terms of US sizing. Although they are Japanese inspired, they are cut for westerners, offering a true to size fit that is more form fitting than a typical dress shirt. The length of the sleeves are also sized appropriately.

To make it simple, if you normally wear a regular size large shirt, then you will want to order a large Takumi. The fit is going to be more form fitting, but not tight.

If your measurements fall within a size range (e.g. 38-40 chest, medium), you probably want to order the corresponding size.

BlackCoat and Foot Soldier T-Shirts:

Fit - Designer

The BlackCoat T and Tx line, as well as the Foot Soldier line of tees have a close fitting cut to allow you to wear them under another shirt. In the case of the Tx Tank Top, they are very form fitting to keep gadgets close to your body during high levels of activity. The Tx Short Sleeve and Foot Solder AI and TT tees are cut just like the BlackCoat-T.

If your measurements fall within a size range (e.g. 38-40 chest, large), you probably want to order the corresponding size.

If your measurements are close to the top end of any size range (e.g. 40 chest), or in between sizes (e.g. 41 chest), you may want to order a size higher (i.e. large) If a more relaxed fit is preferred.

If your measurements are in between sizes (e.g. 41 chest), and you like your shirts to have a closer fit, going one size lower (i.e. medium) might be your best option.

NOTE: It's really important not to compromise on the chest measurement. Select a shirt on this measurement first. The BlackCoat-T line is made from high quality interlock cotton which may shrink by no more than 7% after washing.

Tricot Shirts:

All Tricot shirts have a relaxed versus form fit for comfort.

If your measurements fall within a size range (e.g. 38-40 chest, medium), you probably want to order the corresponding size.

If your measurements are close to the top end of any size range (e.g. 40 chest), or in between sizes (e.g. 41 chest), you may want to order a size higher (i.e. large)

If you like a looser feel. If your measurements are in between sizes (e.g. 41 chest), you and prefer your shirts to have a closer fit, going one size lower (i.e. medium) might be your best option.

NOTE: It's really important not to compromise on the chest measurement. Select a shirt on this measurement first.

ALSO NOTE: This is not a guarantee.  Koyono Shipping & Return terms and conditions enable getting the right fit, but make sure you know what is involved. Some customers have found it helpful to order two sizes and return the lesser fo the two in the same box they came in.

Slimmy Wallets

Fit - Super Slim

While Slimmy wallets vary slightly in width, they are designed with exating tolerances to assure for a slim wallet fit.

You need help with the height measurements of each Slimmy, simply select the Specs tab for each wallet and refer the "The Difference is in the Width" photo. It should be self explanatory from there.

If you are looking for more space to stuff you entire life in, then any old bifold or trifold will do. WARNING: The size of your wallet is ultimately determined by the amount of space available to stuff it. Get either of these two types of wallets and you will end up with a big fat butt brick.
