BlackCoat Classic's distinctively clean appearance, 3-in-1 hybrid design and 14 compartments of varying size make it perfect for a wide range of business, casual and adventure activities.

The coat's industrial styling benefits from a nylon shell with the latest waterproof/breathable Hytrel® membrane technology by Dupont. While the BlackCoat Classic offers superior weather protection, it does not compromise the soft, supple touch of the base Supplex® material. What's more is that the coat's 3/4 length cut allows it to comfortably fit over a sport coat or blazer for more formal occasions.

BlackCoat Classic's removable vest liner is made from the finest 200 weight double sided fleece for added comfort and warmth with minimal bulk. Though invisible when integrated with the shell, the vest liner can be removed and worn separately as activewear, leaving the shell to act as a lightweight, high-performance raincoat. This 3-in-1 design makes BlackCoat Classic your favorite all weather travel companion that looks great for work or play.

How to Use BlackCoat Classic Genius Travel Coat

Each of the pockets in your BlackCoat has been designed to enable convenient stowage while maintaining the line and form of the garment. We humbly offer the following suggested usage for each of the pockets.

CELL POCKET RIGHT: There are cell phone pockets on either side of the coat, with vertically oriented zippers and positioned high enough on the chest so you hear the ring tone and reach the device quickly, although Bluetooth headsets are suggested. There are two of these to accommodate people of either manual orientation (lefty or righty) and to placate technology gluttons. (5” deep x 5.5” high)

CELL POCKET LEFT: See Cell Pocket Right. Remember to orient your phone opposite your preferred hand to ensure a smooth and speedy retrieval.

DEEP POCKET: This zipper-topped pocket is ideal for airline tickets, passports, and bundles of crisp new bills. (9” deep x 6.5” wide)

THE MEMO POCKET: Small PDAs, MP3 Players, and classic note pads fit easily without getting lost in the bottom of this zipper-topped pocket. (5” deep x 4.5” wide)

BIG (iPAD) POCKET: The largest pocket is sized and oriented to keep magazines flat against the abdomen, maintaining the line of the coat as well as the jacket of a book, magazine or business plan. (11” deep x 9” wide)

THE KEYS POCKET: The outer pockets of every BlackCoat include a D-ring for attaching key chords (1 included). Move the cord to the place you like to find your keys.

THE LAST POCKET: The resting place of miscellany. Mints are always a good idea.

SEEMLESS INTEGRATION: 2 zippers and 5 buttons allow for exquisite and effortless integration of the vest into the shell, enabling 3 levels of climate control and 2 distinctive looks. The shell pockets are accessible through convenient 10-inch pass-through ports.

How to Use BlackCoat Classic Vest

VEST CELL POCKET RIGHT: Cell phone pockets on either side to accommodate your preferences.

VEST CELL POCKET LEFT: See above.

PASS THROUGH RIGHT: When the vest is integrated in the coat, you can still get to the coat’s inside pockets through this channel. Leave it open for easy access.

PASS THROUGH LEFT: As above but on the other side.

GLOVE COMPARTMENT: Velcro fastened for convenience (7.5”h x 5”w).

THE iPOD POCKET: Originally we called this the MP3 player pocket, but we didn’t think that offered enough detail. The Velcro fastener won’t impede your hadphone cord (7.5 h x 10” w).

THE VEST KEYS POCKET: The outer pockets of every BlackCoat include a D-ring for attaching key chords (1 included). Move the cord to the place you like to find your keys.

THE LAST VEST POCKET: The resting place of miscellany. Keep lip balm in here when skiing.
